CORONAVIRUS UPDATE
New Safety Protocol - Updated 5/11/2020
As a healthcare organization, the health of our patients, doctors, and associates is our top priority as we re-open to service your needs. As a result, we wanted to take the time to remind you of the precautions we are taking to ensure the entire Vision Center community is safe.
What We Ask of You:
Steps We are Taking to Ensure Your Safety:
Staff COVID-19 Screening
Before every shift all staff will be screened for COVID-19.
Protective Equipment & Cleaning Supplies
Our staff will wear masks at all times. Gloves are provided to staff and will be worn as necessary. Disinfectant hand sanitizer and wipes are available as well.
COVID-19 Screening Questionnaire
Anyone wishing to enter the office will complete a COVID-19 questionnaire. Those at risk of being infected will be asked to reschedule.
Limiting Exams Per Hour
Only 2 patients per doctor per hour will be allowed in order to perform a thorough cleaning after each exam.
Cleaning of Equipment and Surfaces
All equipment and surfaces will be cleaned after each exam.
Patient Intake Forms
In most cases, a link to complete Patient Intake Forms will be sent to patients before their appointment and should be complete prior to arrival.
Limiting the Number of Patients
Our office door will be locked in order to monitor the number of people in the office. We will be actively limiting the number of patients and exams to adhere to CDC social distancing guidelines.
Frame Selection Safety
Sanitized trays will be provided for patients to place frame selections. Our associates will disinfect all frames.
Hand Hygiene
Our associates will wash their hands for 20 seconds after every patient interaction.
Social Distancing
We ask associates and patients to observe 6 feet social distancing whenever possible.
We will continue to monitor CDC guidelines and make changes as appropriate to ensure the safety of the entire Vision Center community.
