Custom Contact Lens Fitting
Contact lenses have improved drastically over the years and The Vision Center carries the industry’s latest lens designs. From ultra-breathable daily disposables to custom multifocal or astigmatism-correcting styles, we have the technology and experience to get you seeing and feeling your best while wearing contacts. When traditional contact lenses will not work for your particular situation, we are experienced with specialty contact lens designs, such as hybrid or scleral lenses.
What to expect at your contact lens exam
Contact lens exams include additional time to clearly understand your specific needs and also additional tests to determine the best lens for you. Some of these tests include:
- Measurement of the size and curvature of the front of the eye (cornea)
- The use of a biomicroscope (slit lamp) that magnifies to view of the front of your eye to determine if your eyes are healthy and whether you have sufficient natural tears to allow for safe and comfortable contact lens use.
- Through the use of diagnostic trial contact lenses, your doctor can make sure that you have great vision and comfortable lenses.
